The Parisian Kir Royale
Champagne with crème de cassis, fig liqueur & gold leaf
For the man who adored French wine and Parisian salons
The Story
Benjamin Franklin spent nearly a decade charming the French court while securing the alliance that would win the Revolution. He became famous for his love of Burgundy wines and Champagne, hosting legendary dinners in Passy. His quote, 'Wine is constant proof that God loves us,' became his signature. This Kir Royale — blackcurrant and Champagne, the quintessential French aperitif — embodies Franklin's Francophile spirit and his talent for making everything a celebration.
