The Story
At nineteen, DJing campus events at the University of Texas, Andrew Garcia kept acquiring speakers until other people started borrowing his rig — and it came back wrong, late, or missing a cable that had been there when it left. He had no system, only a spreadsheet already out of date and a phone full of texts. He was running a logistics company before he had a name for it. This crostini is built the way inventory should be tracked: every element accounted for, complete only when nothing is missing — the bite you notice the instant a single component is gone.

- Baguette (cut into 1" rounds)
- Smoked gouda
- Black garlic
- Caramelized onion
- Chive
- Olive oil
Preparation
- 1.Toast 1" baguette rounds with olive oil.
- 2.Spread a layer of black garlic and caramelized onion.
- 3.Top with shaved smoked gouda and warm until just melting.
- 4.Finish with chive — serve only when every element is in place.
