The Meeting Economy
Gruyère & black truffle gougère with honey-thyme drizzle — where the real value happens
The real value of gatherings comes down to only a handful of conversations
Why this bite? Tim knows the real product of any conference is the meetings inside it. This truffle gougère hides its richness within — value that only reveals itself when you take a bite.
The Story
The modern conference industry runs on a strange contradiction: tens of thousands of professionals gather under one roof, but the real value comes down to a handful of conversations. The founder who meets an investor, the retailer who finds a supplier, the executive who discovers a partner — those encounters justify everything else. Groot built Grip to serve that meeting economy. This gougère — warm, golden, hiding truffle richness inside — is the conference itself: the exterior is the venue, the interior is where value lives. Honey-thyme for the sweetness of a deal that clicks.
