Riley & Harley
A 1×1×1" cube of toasted brioche with a pinhead of peanut butter & one drop of strawberry preserves — the kid lunch in a single bite
Riley and Harley — the kids who go to sleep-away camp now, which was not a thing in his household growing up.
Why this bite? The empire is built for Riley and Harley. This 1-inch cube is their lunch, refined to a single bite.
The Story
Ryan's two children, Riley and Harley, go to sleep-away camp — a thing that did not exist in the bread-truck household he grew up in. The phase he is in now, he says, is about raising healthy and independent and kind children. This 1-inch brioche cube — a pinhead of peanut butter, one drop of strawberry preserves, a single grain of flaky salt — is the universal kid sandwich compressed to one bite, named for the two people the empire is really being built for.
