The Rose Garden
Rose water panna cotta with pomegranate & edible petals
Beauty concealing thorns — the perfect marriage facade
The Story
In Warren Adler's 1981 novel 'The War of the Roses,' Jonathan and Barbara Rose begin as the picture-perfect couple — gorgeous home, beautiful children, enviable dinner parties. The rose garden they tend together becomes a symbol of the life they built and the beauty that masks growing resentment. This delicate panna cotta, fragrant with rose water and crowned with jewel-like pomegranate seeds, captures that intoxicating surface perfection — exquisite to look at, bittersweet underneath.
