The Great Gatsby Champagne Cocktail
Vintage champagne, cognac, Angostura, sugar cube & gold sugar rim
Old sport, the party starts here
The Story
Gatsby's parties were legendary for their rivers of champagne — the bootleg kind, during Prohibition, served in crystal coupes to strangers and socialites alike. The Champagne Cocktail is the drink Jay Gatsby would have served: sophisticated enough for old money, theatrical enough for new, and intoxicating enough to fuel an evening of longing and reinvention. The gold sugar rim is pure Gatsby — excess as art form.
