    The Load-Bearing Wall

A spirit-forward four-spirit boilermaker — the crisis, the pandemic, the rollup, the AI era — the one skill that survived every culture

Sales is the load-bearing wall. Everything else is paint, and the operators who confused the two got optimized out.

Why this cocktail? Sales is the load-bearing wall — everything else is paint. This spirit-forward pour survives every culture.

    The Story

One organization, a series of completely different companies — a founder's rep firm, a private-equity rollup, a FTSE-listed global — and underneath every one the same heavy lift: somebody has to get somebody else to say yes. Matt carried one durable skill through a financial crisis, a pandemic that switched off the lights, and the first innings of an AI era. This spirit-forward boilermaker is that survival — four eras layered into one uncompromising pour, the paint stripped away, only the load-bearing wall left standing.
