The Loading Dock
Smoky bourbon old fashioned with cherry & orange — six AM on the convention floor
At six o'clock the freight doors rose and trucks began unloading.
Why this cocktail? Sam started at 6 AM on the dock. This smoky old fashioned is that first morning — dark, substantial, foundational.
The Story
Sam's career started on the loading dock, watching crates roll across concrete at dawn. This smoky bourbon old fashioned is that origin: dark, substantial, warmed by cherry and expressed orange peel, because the exhibition business was built by people who showed up before the lights came on.
