The Palme d'Or Champagne Cocktail
Champagne, cognac-soaked sugar cube, Angostura & gold leaf
A golden trophy you can drink
The Story
The Palme d'Or is the highest prize awarded at Cannes — a golden palm leaf that represents the pinnacle of creative achievement. The classic Champagne cocktail, invented in the 1860s, is the most prestigious drink in the canon: a cognac-soaked sugar cube dissolving slowly into bubbles, releasing waves of bitters. Crowned with gold leaf, this is a drink that says 'winner' — and tastes like one too.
