    Vital Voices (Zero Proof)

Zero-proof: hibiscus, guava and lime over a slow-melting block — Puerto Rico, after the storm

She served as an Ambassador to the Vital Voices Global Ambassadors Program in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, and has been a board director of the National Council of Jewish Women, Breast Care for Washington and Mary's Center.

Why this cocktail? Showing up after the storm. Zero-proof, deep red, over ice that won't quit.

    The Story

The board seats and the mentoring trips are the part of the résumé nobody applauds and everybody benefits from — showing up in a place still without power to help women rebuild their own businesses. Zero proof on purpose, because the people who stay through the whole rebuild are the ones still clear-headed at midnight, and it is served over one dense block that refuses to disappear.
