The Soft Diplomacy
Champagne cocktail with Cognac, gold flakes & rosemary — a toast to quiet power
The real work happens not in conference rooms, but over canapés
Why this cocktail? Philip facilitated soft diplomacy over canapés. This champagne cocktail is quiet power in a flute.
The Story
At the Vice President's residence, Dufour paired cabinet officials with foreign dignitaries over carefully designed luncheons. This champagne cocktail with Cognac and gold flakes is that soft diplomacy: effervescent, substantial, and designed so the person next to you feels like the most important conversation of your day.
