The Steward's Old Fashioned
Aged rum old fashioned with date syrup, orange & Moroccan spice
Closer to a mayor than a master of ceremonies
Why this cocktail? Richard is a steward, not a showman. This patient, spiced old fashioned is quiet authority in a glass.
The Story
Attias describes his role as steward — closer to a mayor than a master of ceremonies. His father, advisor to the King of Morocco, taught him that power does not need to announce itself loudly. Authority depends on trust built patiently. This aged rum old fashioned — date syrup for Moroccan sweetness, a hint of ras el hanout spice — is that quiet, patient authority in a glass.
