Adult Trick-or-Treating
A 1" caramel-dipped apple bonbon with sea salt — the BizBash wow fused into Connect's commerce, the missing link
"This is the missing link." The trade-show floor became, in his phrase, adult trick-or-treating.
Why this bite? BizBash was the missing link — commerce married to wow. This caramel-apple bonbon is adult trick-or-treating in one inch.
The Story
Connect was so disciplined about commerce it had let the experience go vanilla — until Matt walked the BizBash Live floors in New York and Los Angeles and saw the missing half of his own business. The secret was not choosing between matchmaking and wow; it was the fusion. He turned the show floor into what he calls adult trick-or-treating, a room professionals walk specifically to steal ideas. This caramel-dipped apple bonbon finished with sea salt is that fusion — nostalgic delight on the outside, real substance within, the wow that turned out not to be decoration after all.
