The Ecosystem
Smoked salmon roulade on cucumber with dill cream & edible flowers
Events are ecosystems — they activate identity, commerce, and culture
Why this bite? Hervé sees events as ecosystems that outlast the show floor. This layered, blooming roulade captures that philosophy of sustained, living connection.
The Story
Hervé Sedky's deepest belief is that great events don't just gather people — they move people. 'A great event doesn't end when the lights go down,' he says. 'It continues — in conversations, in collaborations, in what people carry forward.' Beyond Emerald, he chairs the Children's Health Fund, sits on the board of Alliance Française, and champions equity and access across industries. This salmon roulade — layered, living, blooming with edible flowers — represents his vision of events as ecosystems that sustain long after the show floor closes.
