The Longer Table
Whipped ricotta crostini with wildflower honey, cracked pepper & fresh herbs on a long board
When you have more than you need, build a longer table, not a higher fence.
Why this bite? Liz grew up at a table that always got longer. This crostini — generous, communal, unpretentious — is that kitchen sign made edible.
The Story
A sign in the Irving kitchen in Marcellus, New York, carried those words. Christmas dinners expanded to include anyone who needed a seat. Her father moved through rooms like a mayor — introducing strangers, remembering names. This whipped ricotta crostini on a long board is that philosophy made edible: generous, unpretentious, designed to be shared with people you've only just met.
