The Marathon Mile
Lamb kofta with harissa yogurt & micro mint on crispy flatbread
Running and events are the same act: repeat until the pattern emerges, then change what needs changing.
Why this bite? Doug runs until patterns emerge. This spiced kofta — grounded, repetitive, clarifying — is the marathon made edible.
The Story
Doug Emslie doesn't meditate — he runs. In London, Dubai, or whichever city he's landed in, he finds a loop and runs it until the pattern emerges. This lamb kofta on crispy flatbread captures that philosophy: spiced, grounded, built for repetition, and finished with the cooling mint of clarity that comes only after miles of effort.
