FLYGOD
A one-inch buckwheat blini crowned with caviar and a flake of edible gold
For the alter ego that turned a Buffalo kid into a luxury icon
Why this bite? FLYGOD is Westside Gunn's self-made luxury persona. Caviar and gold, shrunk to a coin — opulence earned the hard way.
The Story
Before the Hermès, before Art Basel, there was the name he gave himself: FLYGOD. This bite is that persona on a spoon — a single buckwheat blini, a glossy pearl of caviar, a flake of gold leaf. It is unapologetic luxury earned, not inherited: the most expensive thing in the room, served the size of a coin. One bite, and you understand the whole brand.
