The Bronx
Gin, sweet & dry vermouth and fresh orange juice
Mixed by Waldorf bartender Johnnie Solon — among the first cocktails with juice
The Story
Waldorf bartender Johnnie Solon created the Bronx around 1900, one of the very first cocktails to fold in fresh fruit juice — a small revolution at the time. It was once ranked among the most popular drinks in America, born in the same room as the Rob Roy. Gin, two vermouths, and orange juice: bright, balanced, and unmistakably old New York.
