Greg's Go-To (Zero Proof)
Ice-cold sparkling mineral water in the tray's crystal coupe, finished with a fine lemon twist and one perfect mint leaf — the favorite, served with ceremony
Greg names sparkling mineral water as his go-to drink; the lemon and mint are our optional culinary finish.
Why this sip? Sparkling mineral water is his real go-to. The garnish is optional.
The Story
You told us what you like, so we listened. His actual preference anchors the flight: cold sparkling mineral water, poured into the same petite crystal coupe that carries every other sip on the tray, a fine curl of lemon twist and a single mint leaf resting on the surface like punctuation. No syrup, no invention for invention's sake — just the discipline of serving something simple perfectly, ice-cold and beaded with bubbles. Not every tribute needs a complicated glass. Sometimes the most personal pour is the one the person would order.
Ingredients
- 360 ml chilled sparkling mineral water
- 12 fine lemon twists, optional
- 12 small unblemished mint leaves, optional
Preparation
- 1.Chill twelve petite crystal tasting coupes — the same glass used across this flight — on a tray.
- 2.Pour 30 ml mineral water into each just before serving, letting the bubbles rise in a fine column.
- 3.Rest an optional fine lemon twist and one small mint leaf on the surface of each; serve at once while the bubbles are alive. No ice: the glass and the water do the chilling.
