Why this cocktail? Jacob names the math the guest hoped you wouldn't. This layered old fashioned is the receipt — every line visible.
The Story
Before every interview, Jacob reads back every prior interview the guest has given. When the deflection comes, he names the math. This old fashioned is the same trick: built in three visible layers — demerara at the bottom, bitters in the middle, bourbon on top — so the guest can see exactly what they're drinking before the first sip. Nothing hidden. Nothing dodged.
