The Rose Garden Martini
Rose-infused gin, dry vermouth, rose water & a crystallized rose petal
Beauty concealing thorns — the perfect marriage facade
The Story
In Warren Adler's 'The War of the Roses,' the rose garden symbolizes the beautiful life Jonathan and Barbara built — and the beauty that masks growing resentment. This martini is fragrant with rose in three forms: infused gin, a drop of rose water, and a crystallized petal. Like the Roses' marriage, it's exquisite on the surface, but there's a dry, biting edge of vermouth underneath — the first crack in the crystal.
