    In every divorce, the settlement is where lives are literally divided in half. This cocktail serves two classics in one glass, split down the middle: a Manhattan on one side, a Martini on the other. Two drinks that refuse to mix, sharing the same vessel but living separate lives. It's a cocktail that captures the cruelest cut — the moment you divide what was once whole.

    Ingredients

    • 1 oz rye whiskey
    • 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
    • 1 oz gin
    • 0.5 oz dry vermouth
    • Cherry & olive
    • Angostura & orange bitters

    Preparation

    1. 1.Build the Manhattan (rye, sweet vermouth, Angostura) on one side of the glass.
    2. 2.Build the Martini (gin, dry vermouth, orange bitters) on the other.
    3. 3.Pour carefully using a bar spoon barrier to create a visual split.
    4. 4.Garnish one side with a cherry, the other with an olive.
