Say Yes
A celebratory sparkling cocktail that steps into the spotlight — the correction that turned twenty years of quiet work toward the microphone
You're forever putting yourself behind the scenes, Marty Glynn told her. The next time someone asks you to speak, you say yes. She said yes.
Why this cocktail? 'Say yes' turned twenty years of quiet work toward the microphone. This sparkling, celebratory pour is a leader finally stepping into the light.
The Story
For twenty years she did the work in isolation and said no every time someone asked her to speak. In 2014 her partner Marty Glynn asked why she was forever putting herself behind the scenes and told her: the next time someone asks, you say yes. She said yes — awful at it the first year, tongue-tied and clutching her notes — and discovered the visibility was never a flaw to fix but the missing half of a leadership that had been complete and idle for two decades. The microphone didn't make her a leader; it revealed the one she already was. This sparkling cocktail is that step into the light: effervescent, celebratory, arriving out loud at last.
