The Story
It is the problem she says plainly she has not yet solved: individual attention at a scale mass marketing was built to avoid. So this one arrives with a card and nothing printed on it, waiting for a specific name and a specific reason. Zero proof because the younger half of her room increasingly asks for that too, and saskatoon berries because they grow wild across the prairies and nobody markets them at all.

- 2 oz saskatoon berry (or blueberry) shrub
- 0.5 oz lime juice
- 0.5 oz honey syrup
- 4 oz sparkling water
- Lime wheel
- Blank place card
Preparation
- 1.Build shrub, lime and honey syrup in a highball over crushed ice.
- 2.Top with sparkling water and stir once.
- 3.Garnish with a lime wheel and a few whole berries.
- 4.Tuck a blank place card against the rim and hand it over by name.
