    The Trust Filter

Clarified milk punch, aged rum and lemon — expensive to make, impossible to fake

You vote with your feet, your calendar and the mental tax of showing up. That cost is what makes the room believable.

Why this cocktail? The room is believable because it costs something. A clarified punch is expensive to make and impossible to fake.

    The Story

Karam argues the physical gathering is the last place trust is expensive enough to be real. A flight and four days are a vote the voter takes seriously — and a vote they will convict you over if the thing turns out to be hollow. This clarified punch is the same bargain: two days of work, no shortcut available, and a glass so clear there is nowhere for a flaw to hide.
