Any Space Is an Event Space
One aged-rum-and-vermouth recipe poured three ways — coupe, tumbler, tin cup — and correct in all of them
The ShoSoft thesis, in his words: any space is an event space. A rooftop, a parking structure, a warehouse floor, a church hall — the platform exists to make an unlikely room bookable and manageable, an Airbnb-style layer over venues nobody has catalogued.
Why this cocktail? The ShoSoft thesis in three vessels: the room doesn't have to be a ballroom to work.
The Story
The constraint in the venue market was never square footage; it was that most usable rooms are invisible to the people who need them, held in someone's head instead of a system. So the same measured build arrives in three completely different vessels on one tray, none of them the proper glass, and the guest discovers the drink doesn't care where it's served.
