So Nobody Could Lie to Me
A clarified gin and grapefruit highball you can read straight through — every ingredient visible, nothing hidden
"I learned HTML because the contractors would tell me it takes three weeks to change a page and I knew it didn't." The dyslexic dropout taught himself to code, then kept going: the Exhibitor Management Tool he built to hold his own operation together became the platform ShoSoft sells today.
Why this cocktail? He taught himself to code so contractors couldn't inflate a timeline. Nothing in this glass is hidden.
The Story
He didn't learn to build software because he wanted to be a developer — he learned it because not knowing meant being quoted three weeks for an afternoon's work, and once he could see inside the estimate the leverage moved. The drink is clarified until it is completely transparent, so nobody can claim there's something complicated happening in the glass.
