    The Thermostat

    A 1" warm-and-cold bite: chilled cucumber-yogurt cube set on a hot smoked-paprika almond crisp

She doesn't play showrunner so much as thermostat. She sets the temperature; everyone else performs.

Why this bite? She sets the temperature, not the performance. Cold calm on hot spice, in one square inch.

    The Story

Freeman's chief executive describes her own job in climate terms rather than command terms: she sets the temperature of the company and lets thirteen thousand people perform inside it. This bite is engineered around that idea — a cold, calm center resting on something hot and assertive, so the guest tastes both at once and cannot tell you which one is in charge.
