    The Temporary City

Layered vegetable terrine in glass cube with precision-cut ingredients & herb gelée

The walls, the ceilings, the venue itself: none of it has to exist.

Why this bite? Janet builds temporary cities. This precision terrine — engineered, layered, designed to look effortless — is that craft.

    The Story

Every Freeman project is a temporary city — walls, ceilings, stages, lighting, all engineered to exist for days and then vanish. Janet manages the logistics of making the impossible appear permanent. This layered terrine in a glass cube is that precision: every layer calculated, every ingredient placed with engineering accuracy, the whole thing designed to look effortless while being anything but.
