The Boston Sling
Applejack brandy, ginger beer, lemon & cinnamon syrup
Boston's own, with colonial-era apple brandy
The Story
John Adams was a proud New Englander through and through. In colonial Massachusetts, hard cider and applejack were the drinks of choice — far safer than water and deeply tied to the agricultural rhythms of the region. Adams reportedly started each day with a tankard of hard cider. This Boston Sling takes colonial applejack and pairs it with spicy ginger beer and warm cinnamon — a cocktail as sturdy and principled as the man himself.
