The American Dream, Italian Style
A negroni built 1:1:1 with a Las Vegas neon-orange twist — Italy's bitter heart poured in the convention capital of America
The American Dream told in an Italian accent. He just happens to have lived it from the wrong continent.
Why this cocktail? The American Dream told in an Italian accent. An Italian negroni, finished with Las Vegas neon.
The Story
He could have lived anywhere. The newsletter is written from an apartment, the clients are global, the keynotes are in twelve countries. He chose Las Vegas — the convention capital, the only American city whose entire economy runs on the gathering, the city still operating on the proposition that anyone can arrive with nothing and become someone. The negroni is Italy's bitter heart, equal parts and unmistakably Italian; the flamed orange twist is the Vegas neon. The American Dream, in an Italian accent.
