The Story
The global Julius Solaris influence operation is a two-person engineering project in which one of the two has been deliberately invisible by design. Carmen Boscolo has been with him since high school in Apulia — twenty-six years, three businesses, three countries. He runs voice; she runs operations and made the green card happen. This martini is that partnership: two ingredients that disappear into each other, neither one a cocktail on its own, together the cleanest drink on the menu. The visible half and the invisible half, in perfect balance.
Ingredients
- 2.5 oz gin
- 0.5 oz dry vermouth
- Lemon twist
- Olive (optional)
Preparation
- 1.Stir gin and vermouth with ice until very cold.
- 2.Strain into a chilled coupe.
- 3.Express a lemon twist over the surface.
- 4.Garnish and serve.
