The Stamp
Bonded bourbon, demerara, orange bitters & a wax-seal orange peel — the brand endorsement, poured
EVG — the stamp the events industry should have built in 2008.
Why this cocktail? Bottled-in-bond bourbon is literally a federal stamp on a bottle. It's the Old Fashioned EVG would order.
The Story
An Old Fashioned is the cocktail equivalent of a credible brand. Three ingredients, no shortcuts, every component has to earn its place. Marco has spent thirty years arguing that founders need the stamp more than they need the check. EVG was built to be both. This pour uses bottled-in-bond bourbon — federally vouched-for whiskey, the original 'stamp' product — over a single large cube, sealed with an expressed orange peel that lands like a wax signature.
