More Than a Smile
A 1-inch roasted golden-beet cube, whipped goat cheese and bright red pepper — substance behind the display
At her first staffing-agency booth, she was told to hand out flyers and look the part. She asked to learn the product instead, then began calling exhibitors herself.
Why this bite? A pretty booth cannot replace a person who knows what the company does. The substance is inside.
The Story

Robyn Davis arrived with an aerospace engineering degree and the willingness to learn a company's product, but the staffing agency wanted her appearance, not her understanding. The golden beet looks like the kind of handsome display a booth can buy; cut into it and the real flavor is inside. The pepper is the sharp question that launched Exhibitors WINH: teach me what you're selling so I can actually help your visitors.
